Refund policy

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a refund, exchange, or store credit. Please see below for more information on our return policy. 

 

RETURNS:

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your returned item must be in the same condition that you received it (unworn or unused, with original tags and labels attached) alongside a completed product return notification. If you would like a product return slip, please contact us by email at contactafrocentricboutique@gmail.com with your order number. 

We reserve the right to withhold a store credit if goods are not returned in their original condition. 

Please note that all discounted/clearance

products are final sale and cannot be returned. 

 

RETURN PROCESS:

To start a return, you can contact us at contactafrocentricboutique@gmail.com with your order number. If your return is accepted, we will send you a product return slip, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Only approved return requests will be processed for a store credit. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

The cost of returning an item to Afrocentric Boutique is the customer's responsibility. Shipping costs are non-refundable. However, if the return was due to our error (for instance, we accidentally sent the wrong product), we will accept full responsibility for all shipping costs related to the return, and you will be provided with a paid shipping label via email for orders within the United States. For return requests of orders made outside the US we will issue a store credit equivalent to the amount of your shipping fees. 

Afrocentric Boutique is not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in transit. The item is the responsibility of the customer until it reaches our facility. Therefore, for your own protection, we strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.

 

EXCHANGES & STORE CREDIT:

Afrocentric Boutique does not offer exchanges due to the uncertainty of item availability. 

Store credit will be issued once we've received your returned item. Please allow 5 business days to process your return and issue you a store credit.

 

REFUNDS:

Afrocentric Boutique does not offer refunds, only store credit. 

 

DAMAGES/ISSUES:

For defective or damaged products, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your package at contactafrocentricboutique@gmail.com with a picture of the damaged product and your order number.
